DWDM allows multiple independent signals to be transmitted over a single optical cable, each encoded with a different wavelength of light (color). This technology makes very efficient use of the bandwidth of the optical fibers, allowing the transmission of several or even several dozen times more data over longer distances.
The WhiteBit team has extensive experience designing and deploying simple DWDM links, such as those between two remote data centers, and highly complex optical rings with many DWDM networks with different speeds (or types of service).
